Tanya Lee Stone contributed "Earth Angels" to this anthology, which is a story about how she founded Project Angel Food when she saw the mountain of wonderful food about to be thrown out at her local grocery store. Within a few months, Stone had organized a volunteer network to rescue perishable food from area restaurants, groceries, and caterers and was distributing it to nonprofits serving food to people in need.
